CNC Machining
- What tolerance is achievable?
±0.005 mm achievable on milled features. ISO 2768-mK applies to everything the drawing does not specify.

CNC Turning
- What tolerance is achievable on a turned part?
±0.005 mm achievable on turned features, with ISO 2768-mK applying to anything the drawing does not specify.
Tolerances and standards- Can off-axis features be machined?
Yes. Live tooling handles cross holes, flats and milled features on the same machine, in the same setup. That usually costs less than turning and then transferring the part to a machining centre.
Gears
- What gear quality class is achievable?
DIN 4-5 on the highest accuracy grinder, to 400 mm and module 12, and DIN 5-6 externally to 1250 mm tip diameter and module 28.
All production capacities- Which material is used for case hardened gears?
18CrNiMo7-6, a low carbon chromium nickel molybdenum case hardening steel, used where a tough core carries a hard wear surface.
- What case depth is available for carburizing?
1 to 3 mm, set by the tooth module and the load on the flank rather than by the size of the gear. Carburizing runs in a carbon rich atmosphere, by gas or by vacuum, followed by an oil or gas quench and a temper.
- Why are gears ground after hardening?
Carburizing and quenching distort tooth geometry. Grinding corrects that distortion before the finished tooth geometry is inspected against the specified quality class.
- How is the tooth form checked after grinding?
On a gear measuring machine, which produces lead and profile deviation charts, often called a gear graph or a K-chart. They show the measured tooth form against the tolerance band for the quality class, and they are what verify the crowning and taper ground into the flank.
Laser Cutting
- What is the maximum sheet size for cutting?
The bed is 2550 x 6550 mm, so most panels fit without splitting.
Heat Treatment
- Which heat treatment processes are available?
Carburizing, hardening and annealing, on sealed-quench, pit-type and polymer-quench furnaces. The route is confirmed from the material and the property required.
- How is hardness kept consistent across a batch?
The furnaces run under SCADA control, with temperature and cycle time recorded for each batch.
- Will heat treatment distort my part?
Distortion depends on section thickness, geometry and quench medium. Where finish grinding is required, stock is left on critical features before heat treatment.
Sheet Metal Fabrication
- What tolerance applies to a fabricated part?
ISO 2768-mK is the default unless the drawing says otherwise. Folded assemblies accumulate tolerance across each bend, so if an overall dimension matters more than the individual features, mark it as the controlling one and it governs.
Tolerances and standards- Are welding and finishing available alongside cutting and bending?
Yes. Cutting, bending, welding and finishing are quoted together so what arrives is an assembly ready to fit.
- Can threaded inserts and hardware be installed?
Yes, self-clinching nuts, studs and standoffs can be pressed in as part of the fabrication. Specify them on the drawing with the part numbers, because that determines whether the hole is the right size for them.
