Design guidance
Wiring schedule
The wiring schedule defines each conductor connection, length, gauge, insulation and marking. These details establish the production requirements for the outsourced assembly.
Connector part numbers
Crimp tooling depends on the terminal design. Manufacturer part numbers for terminals and housings identify the required components and allow the production network to assess tooling requirements.
Labelling and packing
The specification defines conductor labels, bundle arrangement and packaging for the receiving assembly line. Crimptech reviews these requirements alongside the batch quantity and delivery schedule.
